When I saw the first time the cartoons of Roberts, Damian, Quoom, Archimboldo (which I still adore), in my fantasy the scenes became movies. I heard the yelling cries of the tortured young women, followed their steps to the stake, saw the blank horror in their eyes, and the grim lust of their rapists. And I started to like what I saw in my mind. In my opinion a good story tells the “fine art of torture”: prolonged, detailed, always searching for new and exquisite methods to cause unlimited pain to the victim. – I write stories on medieval and modern torture, often situated in jails of the secret police, camps, or at wartime. They are written in german.
