2020: Slavery Conscription, young men serving two years as work slaves, has been operating successfuly in Great Britain since 1997. It's made that country an economic superpower, but at what price? In 21st Century Britain, we hear the story from both sides: the slaves and the women exempted from this horrific experience yet affected all the same.

From author: The first part, an intro to the politics bringing such a change to millions of mens' young lives is yet to be finished in later parts, and is rather dull. Feel free to jump ahead to the second bit. The second section is an introduction to everyday life in 2020. We see a cold wet British morning through the eyes of three people: A male factory slave, an office girl and the factory slave's Chief.
