I liked this as an opening chapter. It's well written and sets up the story nicely. I like the age thing, with his wife being mistaken for his daughter, and of course the interracial side of things too. Look forward to reading more soon. (8/10)

If this is "barely readable" I suggest michaelkors goes to school to learn English... Furthermore, next to the three rating, it says "mediocre with barely acceptable grammar". Can't look inside michaelkors' head, so no word on the "mediocre" part, but Miss Kay is one of the handful of writers who make exceptionally few errors, so, it's highly unfair to rate the story at just three...
Me, I had no problems with this short story. Sounded nice with very believable characters.
Another above par effort from Karen Kay.
Was gonna go for a niner, but going all the way to compensate a bit on the three rating...
