For some strange reason, this story made me remind "You're All Living In Cuckooland", an album by Budgie (hailing from -whaddayano- Cardiff in Wales)... which made me have a go again at their "In For The Kill" recording. Hey, I'm strange like that.
No blatant humor, but still there's a serious tongue in bulging cheek throughout "Jaded", thanks to the characters going down the rabbithole to emerge in a BDSM-friendly landscape (reminiscent of anything but Kansas), where the victims are willing and the natives very friendly in a wicked way.
A. Broadsword is a fine writer, yet again this feels more like a run-of-the-mill effort.
Which still is above par, I can assure you. At least, I thoroughly enjoyed this story.
Maybe I've become slightly jaded, who knows...

Once again Broadsword surprises as the title has little or nothing to do with the story of a frustrated young woman in a contemporary city, London perhaps, finding her true nature, sensitivey written with little or none of his recent humour, enjoyable. (9/10)
