Antiquity fans will delight in the various encounters of this Etruscan and life under Roman rule. However skip this one if you find extreme tortures, including crucifixion, offensive. If not, enjoy. |

As expected Faibhar deserves full marks for exoticism; a nice touch about Etruscan women being better educated than Roman women. This story has less sex and violence, if memory serves, than some others by this author, which will no doubt please some and displease others. (8/10)

- Dear b,
Thank you for your generous rating, and as for the "sax and violins" part, you are quite correct. A different tact was taken in this tale, in that the actual crucifixion was not as explicit in previous works. Still glad you enjoyed.
