Great story! Well written with great character development and saucy humor told from the main characters' (author) point of view. Highly recommendable read. Would be more erotic with more detail during the sex scenes. Author has constructed top-notch scenario for highly erotic shenanigans, but falls short in detail and eroticism for me. (9/10)

Outstanding writing by a new (to BDSM Library) contributor. As Michael247 noted in his review, a little soft on the sex scenes, but you can always read one of the other postings from Ceight and get your fix. My only complaint is that by Ceight posting three stories at the same time, he is cheating his/her? opportunity for more reviews as most of us will probably just pick our favorite (I did, although all are excellent) to review. Would love to read more from this outstanding new contributor! (10/10)

- I didn't realize there was any benefit to spacing them out! Thanks for the tip. I just went through my personal archive of stories and looked for anything ready to be posted. Thanks for the encouragement!
Oh, and Ceight is a phonetically nightmarish way of rendering Kate.

Yes, it's amusing. I liked it for the "pseudo-spiritual new age culture." (9/10)

I think my chakras are swelling. ... Every once in a while, someone publishes something here at the BDSM Library that defies the standard. Either it is outside the mold of the expected, or it is done with super high quality, or damn it, you just can't help smiling when you read it. "Aligning the Chakras" by Ceight is one of those stories and if you only thinking about reading it, well stop. Just do it. ... The story is written in first person and the author, Ceight has done a find job in creating a main character, Padma, who takes us through the gradual mind fuck of a young girl who wants to become enlightened and never realizes that rather than spiritual enlightenment, she has been enslaved and used for sex fodder. I love it. The author clearly has done her research, giving us a unique and often hilarious view of the yoga world and a rather pleasing poke at the liberal San Francisco lefties and their general gullibility. The plot is magnificent, but even better is the author's sense of timing, moving the reader along with both the occasional touch of sarcastic humor with the appeal of what might happen next to her most favored student. ... From a grammatical perspective, "Alighnign the Chakras" is pretty damn good. The author uses compound sentences to add depth and complexity to the work, and punctuation was well done. There were a few mistakes here and there that a decent proof reading would have caught, but almost always it was a typo or wrong word, rather than a gross error of writing. In essence, the author's got some serious writing chops. ... While this story was a clever balance of dialog, action, and description, I have to admit that I felt the actual sex scenes to be the least fleshed out sections of the story. Perhaps it was because the author wrote in first person, which prevented the reader from getting the student's perspective and limiting the author to relating her student's behavior and feelings to what is observed. This is always the problem when limiting one's self to a first person view. Your descriptive lens is by necessity restricted to what your main character perceives. A clever author has to find ways in which her first person point of view can expand their knowledge. Perhaps if Padma had interrogated the student in the middle of their activities. I also was a bit disappointed with the limitations to yoga that "Padma" pushed. You would have thought she'd go out and by the illustrated Karma Sutra and have "Aaron" work with their little friend to master every pose. In addition, I would have loved to see exactly what "Padma" had threatened. Why wasn't the girl ever bound? There was that one teaser, a foreshadow that never went anywhere. Damn. ... In summary we've got a fantastic story that could have only been better if more had been added to it. I think I'm going to be reading more of Ceight's work. It was well worth it. ... Yours Faithfully, Michael Alexander (www.michaelalexanderstories.com) (9/10)

- Thanks again. I've noticed that my F/f stories tend to be slow and about the process of manipulation and that my M/f stories are more action and less thought. Which short changes both sexes quite a lot I suppose.
Also I can't honestly say I expected anyone to read my stories! But your thorough review will have me doing a more serious editing job, including consistency issues like bondage teasers. That's just mean of me.

I was expecting nothing from this, but it's quite a good little story. I was especially pleased by the ending, which went in a distinctly non-stereotypical way. Good stuff. (9/10)
