Mr. Clegg, this is littleone_ (with a single underscore) but I love that nick. Maye you kind of remember me. This story is the best I have ever read of this class of literture. It is totally, absolutely profession and could be sold to a magazine I bet. The moral lessons in it are made me think about my own slavery and what it means to me. Thank you for writing such an exciting, HOT, thought provoking story. I am sure you have read the Parker stories. I thought nobody would ever equal him. Well, it just happened and you did it.... I'd just half step above him even and that is the best, best, best compliment I can give you, Sir. (10/10)

littleone_ thanks for your kind words. I certainly remember your correspondence on "Thesis". I've passed on your comments to Phil Lane , my co-author on the Jenny stories. We have to share the plaudits! I'm touched that you found it both hot and thought provoking.

Another tour-de-force by Phil Lane and Freddie Clegg in this saga that began in 'Thesis', continued in 'Such Sweet Sorrow, and now reaches the end of this part of the story in "Tales From A Far Country'. Not only has the story been fascinating and gripping from the very beginning, with unbelievable attention to detail, but they have created characters who are not only multi dimensional, but many of whom we come to care about deeply. Most specifically of course is Jenny (I refuse to call he Vyera as she has fought so valiantly to maintain her identity) and Joe. After all that they have been through, to have them finally, miraculously, be brought back together again and be 'saved' is so emotionally satisfying and uplifting. Well, well done.
And yet, there is that hint (and hope for us readers) that there is more to come. More depths to explore. More intrigue and trials to face, both for Jenny and Joe between themselves, and from the outside, now far more perilous world. I can't wait. Thank you, guys. (10/10)

Thanks, onewhoadores. One of the best complements we can get is that the readers care about the characters, we hope we'll be able to deliver as much on the next story.

Great story line. Easy to follow along. Shows us what might happen if the oligarchs get their way with the world. Legibility could be vastly improved by dumping text from you writing/editing into a plain ASCII file in Notepad, etc. then post it here for all to enjoy -- including those who want to change it to a different format. Thanks, oldebloke, Glad you've enjoyed it, there's more to come. Sorry about the readability problems, I'm exploring with the site operators how best to solve that....

very good story. excellent establishment of background and context. am intrigued by the Russian element - I used to work for a company which dealt with Russian projects, so your story strikes a chord. Am looking forward to reading more updates.

Littleone - thanks for the review - I'll respond on the site shortly but for some reason can't log on to reply to reviews this morning.
Thanks for the BJ offer but you'll have to give one to my co-author Phil Lane too, so it will be a mini-orgy. :-) He's got to get credit for a lot of this one as he's well more than 50% of this tale.

Glad you're enjoying the tale...
