They are professional and rational slaughters. The human cruel immagination is endless. (9/10)

Definitely a matter of taste and just about the most extreme, deep, horrific fantasy imaginable. I suspect there are a significant number of readers anxiously awaiting the next chapter but are nervous about admitting it here. The head honcho at the farm works very well in that he narrates the story as if he's a regular, working class cattle farmer just doing his job in this alternative reality. The extreme becomes ordinary and prosaic. Sometimes his spelling and grammar let him down (he needs to get a dictionary and look up the difference between 'orgy' and 'ogre'!). But, hey, he's just a simple working class guy so that's what he would write :) If I was a pretentious ass I'd suggest it was a great metaphor for the casual acceptance of the horrors that happen in the real-life livestock industry every day (I'm a vegetarian but that doesn't mean I don't fantasize about eating meat!). As an exploration into the darkest recesses of humankind's cruel imagination, this story works well. I'm sure many hope to see more. Remember, de Sade explored the same sort of territory and some today see him aó a literary hero (sorry, couldn't resist...) Edited rating to 10/10 (10/10)

This material definitely pushes the envelope, which is not a bad thing. It is well written, but the subject matter does not appeal to me. The rather simple plot does allow for plenty of gratuitous sex and violence, not a bad thing either.I have no idea where this story is going, nor do I much care. Different strokes for different folks I guess. (7/10)
