Another very good story from Broadsword. The pace is good and the use of ‘Victorian’ style in speech and narration is entertaining. There are good puns as well as inventive dialogue. It is a skilful tale, where honesty overcomes deceit, and decency triumphs over vulgar greed. I feel this is a fine story, but there is no need for a sequel. I am enough of a romantic to feel that the author should bring Celia and the Squire’s yarn to an end on a happy note. (9/10)
