Someone should spank Rolf's (presumably) hairy butt, because, contrary to the title --and judging by The Major's response-- Rolfie clearly didn't write a story which has something for everyone. Then again, maybe The Major has been bad and didn't deserve no nicely wrapped gifts... I must admit I too had some doubts about a few things. Tina seemingly being born with some elasticized bikini panties, for instance, as the latter seem to belong to her body. Tina also must have bought the grounds of French pilgrimage village Lourdes, because she's in the possession of a Holy Grotto. Okay, okay, so I'm having a go at Rolf here. Sue me. Honestly, although I found "Something For Everyone" to be an awkward story, I also found most of it funny. But not too much. That's because I prefer the British kind of funny, like, fawlty Towers or other Monty Pythons, not the Phil Silvers Chutzpah kind. Although the latter had its moments. What bothers me the most, is that the story gives the impression like it's being shouted at you. It's too damn loud, that's what it is. It's like the Marx Brothers invited their 250 cousins onto the set and everybody is delivering their lines at the same time. Chaotic, to say the least. Of course, it takes nothing away from "Something For Everyone" to be well written. Or well shouted. Well screamed even. Colorfull too. And smelly at times. But I've got a bit of a cold, so that's alright. Anyway, it seems as if rolf palsy was aiming at satire. As such, he succeeded. Very much so. I also noticed that rolf seems to have spent more time at his spelling/grammar, as there's less mistakes than what I was used to so far. All in all, I enjoyed the tale. And since there's quality here and the story was well written, I'll gladly hand a nice niner. JJ (8/10)
