    |  | Ouch.  This was excellent, but damn, it does sting a bit.  Excellent idea, making the victim deaf, really adds that zing, makes it completely terrible and fantastic.  Great job! (10/10)

    |  | not for the squeamish, but well worth the assault on the nervous system. this is one powerful writer. the use of a deaf victim is a cruel and brilliant touch, that only intensifies the visceral impact of the story. (9/10)
