Well written, I think that JJ was a little harse but this story tickles one of my lust spots so maybe I'm prejudice. At any rate I'd like to see more. (9/10)

While absolutely not a bad write, "Only The Beginning" suffers where a lot of other stories suffer too, and that's in the subtlety department. Meaning that the 'transition' (in this case of Evan) is way too brusque. It's not because a woman/girl has some submissive streak bubbling under the surface that she immediately falls to her knees when her boyfriend starts taking a dominant air.
I also understand the connection, made by the author, between having little money and as a result being 'practical' in one's choice of clothes and the subsequent amount of time it takes to get ready. Which of course could imply that very poor people go out naked, and the filthy rich never make it out of the house... but that's entirely my own conclusion...
When push comes to shove, "Only The Beginning" is good, albeit needing a little weeding and some added thought put into it.
But hey, after all, this is only the beginning, right?
