I'm beginning to think that the couple of stories from Abe which were really good, were either flukes or the ones Abe spent more time on.
Because the rest seems to be written like assembly-line work, without the faintest effort being put into the structure or content of the story.
Here we have a mother and daughter who get arrested for, well, just for the fun of the writer.
What follows is one cliché after the other: the corrupt and sadistic police commandante, the lecherous guards, etc. ...
Abe seems to think that every country outside his own is a banana republic where people are arrested just because the local cops ran out of fresh meat.
Get a grip dude.
