Strange... I thought I had reviewed "A Step Too Far" already... but seeing the date it was (re)posted, my former critique nine out of ten vanished when the server croaked end of 2009... anyway, I am one of those who was pleasantly surprised by the ending, and as such loved it enormously. "A Step Too Far" is one of those perfect (very) short stories, which prove that the author has class -probably in a class of her own, too- and that you don't need labyrinthian texts spread over several volumes to come up with a story worthy of that moniker. "A Step Too Far" is a step short of too far and thus -as I said before- perfect. JJ (10/10)

Interesting, the last two reviewers do not really like this story yet have given high ratings and wish to read more - just like me. i hate the ending, what a terrible, deceitful Mistress, when are we going to get more? (9/10)

Hmmm. Not too happy with the ending, though it's a nice twist. Otherwise pretty good and with plenty of potential for further updates - possibly with some different characters added in. (9/10)

Well written story as usual. In a way it's a tale of a D/s relationship gone badly wrong. The Mistress turns out to have been dishonest more or less from the start, and the twist in the tail shows her to be a pretty loathsome character. I'd be interested to see what happened next! (9/10)

A reprise of a lost review. A true D/s horror story. A cautionary tale so compelling that it hurts, as I suspect it's supposed to. (10/10)
