Interesting story and some development of the central characters by the sound of it. Need to read through the full story when I get a day or two free to know it all.
However some doubts on the logic of the story. May be that a different society with rules allowing sex at younger ages and also more acceptance of violence. However not sure that Jessica could sustain the level of damage inflicted. Not to mention the danger of infection with all those splinters, even with the alchol wash.
Nelson needs to get control of his own sadistic impluses before he can really seek to control her masacism. If he took control, or simply applied the rules they agreed then I think he would have an easier task to it. Putting his foot down and refushing to inflict the final set of canings as she had 'won' their stopping by failing to roll a 6 would have been an example. Until he shows he actually prefers loving her to torturing her she's a lot less likely to sort her own head out.
