First true to myself: you need an editor, and a spell-checker. Some of the mistakes are silly.
To the story; not bad. Short, could be expanded to provide more detail, but good also that way. The occasional short-short is a relief from 700mb monster tales. More descriptions of the girl would be good; physical and psychological.
