The problem with prologues, however well written they might be, is that the readers usually just deny them, or they give low ratings as there's not much action to be 'seen'. Cuz, let's face it, most readers on this here website are just looking for a mental (or physical) wank. They couldn't care less if the produce came from Baudelaire or Smelly Nelly from down the pub. I do care, and since I don't smell Nelly, I'm rather inclined to see some Baudelaire here. In other words, as a preliminary for what's to come, this prologue can count. Well written, to the point descriptions give that sense there's a real author behind the written lines. There's imagination at work here, with a neat skill that hopefully will shine through in the following content. Very well done, Eisfor! JJ (9/10)
