my beef with the story is: why so much useless and irrelevent descriptions of the environment. who cares? this is not a joseph conrad's novel. give me the gist of it so I can jack off, and why the fancy words? am i going to get my dictionary to know what is a smidgeon? keep it simple stupid. (6/10)

I have completely enjoyed you work and I cannot wait until you write more. I hope at some point you will go into her training so that I have a better understanding of what she went throught. (10/10)

The story has a wonderful premise, and some grand ideas. But the "Dump you in the middle of the action" beginning does not explain anything about her previous experience, or training, or even her emotions at the signing of the contract and her dismay at finding out the truth! This really makes it difficult for me to get into the story.
I'd love to see a "prologue" or something akin to that to make it easier to grasp. I like the story, but the attitude of our heroine is not in character with her experience. (7/10)

Starting off right into the thick of the action, I feel a tad let down because of the skipping of the parts that led to Amy signing up as an escort girl in the first place and the actual training sessions...
What I also lack (and this in most stories), is the resistance, both mental and physical, one must feel and show, after having been tricked into signing one's life away by mistake...
Almost all of the time, after some brief preliminary shenanigans, the main character seems to effortlessly settle into her new position, without any hint of a mental transition whatsoever...
This being said, "The Escort" is a well written and nice read. Since this is only the first of several installments, maybe some answers will be given in flashbacks as the story unfolds... if not, well, like I said, it still is a nice read.
