Another vignette, more completely formed this time, which would have brought an '8', except that the ending was quite unsatisfactory. Who cares what the realtor's records show? Someone was obviously there, anyway. It would have been stronger (and made greater use of the 'sci-fi' story code) if the police had sent in a forensics team and found nothing. The author seems to be much better at the 30-40k stories. (7/10)

Excellent short story. Nothing graphic here (you need to read The Storyteller for that), but very nicely developed. (9/10)
