As much as possible, a reviewer should put aside his or her prejudices when reviewing a piece of fiction.
As Lady maid states it is difficult to maintain interest in a long piece. As a writer of longer fictions I agree, at times even I get sick of my characters. But the writer does manage to engage one's attention. I go more with semi-consensual (coercive) C.P. but the author warns clearly that this is "very strong stuff). Also I would like a more erotic tone, but again this is me. As quality writing this has to rank in the top 80% or better on this site. (8/10)

It is difficult to keep a lenghty bdsm story both interesting and innovative, especially when all the action takes place in one setting, but this writer manages both fairly well. I couldn't take to the story, though, because it was very extreme without being erotic. I suspect that a hardcore sadist or masochist would appreciate it more than I did. (4/10)

I've read and enjoyed several of Stephen Davis' stories, and I enjoyed this one. I first found and read this more than seven years ago on newsgroups. This story is *very* strong stuff. (7/10)

As the classification line says: Extreme cruelty. And this means extreme. Not for the soft-minded. Even too brutal for many SM friends. Personally, I strongly detest disfigurement of women. The good style of writing and the creative situations save a star. (3/10)
