This is a solid tale of woe that begs for more. I would encourage you to continue this tale, despite your admited difficulties, in the same POV. I would very much enjoy reading how this story plays out and the suffering this girl is to be put through.
Stylistically, this story could be handled a bit better. Sentences tended towards the choppy and descriptions that would have livened it a bit were omitted.
Otherwise, as an entre that promises to be more, this was an excellent beginning. (8/10)

- I appreciate that you like the story. It was the hardest story I ever wrote, and as such not sure I will ever come back and finish, unless I change the POV.
