Another one of those Mike Hammer-ish narratives. Very well written, with an Elmore Leonard-like straight-forwardness and humor.
Well built, down-to-earth main character, who's musings are a real delight and a treat to behold.
Great stuff!

I enjoy a bit of humor especially when its done with a little style and intelligence. To many of us take BDSM way too serious. A Clegg sitcom it is and better than most of what the networks shovel our way. Any more coming? (9/10)

- Glad you enjoyed this. I think a bit of humour is important. No more for this tale I'm afraid but you might enjoy "Anthropology" which is my current story and there will be more after that....

The 1st chapter reads more like a parody than a serious story. Airhead valley girl finds out her bf is a white slaver. You could do a sitcom about this. (7/10)

- Fair point - I had a problem selecting key words for this. I opted for "serious" because sometimes folk have written to say they don't like the violent / non-consensual nature of what I write. And, while I hope that there is some humour in this, "spoof" didn't seem like a key word to use.
A Clegg story as a sitcom? Sounds fine to me. Send in the offers! Not sure who we'd get for the lead, though. Plus - not sure how the networks would cope. :-)
Anyways, thanks for the review.

- Fair point, maybe it could have done with a re-visit at the start. Normally I'd aim for a consistent tone all the way through but I''m conscious that the style on this evolved as I wrote it.
Hopefully the next bits resemble chapters 2 & 3 more than 1.

wow another great beginning from one of my favorite authors of bdsm stories..plus you write as if you were her, that's not easy to do..i've noticed you do that very well..i gave this a ten as i always do your fantastic, original plots.. (10/10)

Another Clegg Classic comming our way! You have some of the most expressive phrases, the ties really got me. please tell me there are more adventures of Jack and ?? (Jill?) to come.
