I liked this story a lot and look forward to reading the rest as it is concocted. The author has obviously done background research on the inquisition and the historical period in question. It definitely adds flavour to the story without being too obtrusive. The story itself is well-written, gramatically and syntactically correct. It has a 'grabber' at the beginning and moves right along, never getting bogged down in description. (10/10)
