‘Disconnections’ comprises independent, and not interdependent, stories. Though not interconnected, the stories have a common theme: the ‘disconnections’ of the overall title. I hope you’ll enjoy them …. |

Amazing set of short stories. Relaxed, but verbose, writing. There's a lot of wordplay, but the stories are not low on action. You'll know quickly whether it's your cup of tea or not. A new reader can start with any chapter. Pretentious or not, I don't know how anybody's personal scale could measure this as a 2/10. (10/10)

If you like the following sample, you should like this story: "Her tumbling tears sweet sadness, reaches her glorious mouth’s closed close-circular shape, with its compelling lips: full blooded, bold, powerfully passionate: the sensual upper with its teasing rise to cupid bowed flatness: the full-bodied lower, seductively soft siren for wreaking lovers’ wrack wreck and ruin." I, however, find it sophomoric, unbearably pretentious, and essentially meaningless. (2/10)

- My Dear Lakewood
I'd probably be deeply hurt if the review above came from anyone other than you. I really should get around to reviewing one of your stories. There are three reasons for my not doing so however. The first is that I would only be seeking petty revenge for your insulting reviews of my stories. The second is that I would find it unutterably boring. The third and final reason is that the justification of my earlier comments on the worth of your reviews is probably secured by the particular review above. I suspect that that review is intended as your revenge on me for my earlier comments. If so, it shows you in your full true colours and crystal clear light, and thus vindicates entirely what I have said before about your complete lack of any worth or credibility as a reviewer. If not so, then that does not matter, because no further vindication of what I have said about you before was needed anyway…. EA

I've decided to alter my tactics and not to give a 10 score all of the time. Not because I have suddenly gotten a grudge against Adorer stories, but to be fair towards the writer. Having read the "Disconnections" series thus far, I can say nothing else than that this is again some most excellent writing. Very well constructed, excellent choice of words, sublime creation of atmosphere and character setting. Combining the above with a wicked and intellegent imagination, you end up with what can be considered as some of the best writing you'll ever encounter, in any category... Therefore, I humbly hand out a nice and well deserved 10 JJ (10/10)
