I think people get confused sometimes about what constitutes a short story! The "short" does not mean four or five paragraphs, but rather more than five pages in length. This little blurb you posted would have been better served as the introductory paragraph to at least one of your chapters. You also have several typographical errors in the little bit you posted. There are times when spellcheck does not catch synonyms (add instead of ad for an example). Proofread what you post. (4/10)
