I wish the sex was written with more detail, but an exciting read none the less. Great story line!! (9/10)

Something I read quite a while back, "The Mortgage" is among Marlissa's better work. And although the author is eager to point out that a lot of this story is Parker's doing, or at least the editing and a lot of suggestions, I still feel that Marlissa shouldn't try to minimalize her efforts. i've read a few of her other stories and can judge to the fact she's a very good author. "The Mortgage" is a bit of a 'standard' blackmail story, but one which stands out thanks to the excellent portrayeal of the different characters --especially that of Amy, the main (unwilling) participant. Great story. JJ (10/10)

well written and believable, the author seemed to make the main characters come alive, and the reader was able to get inside the heads of the characters which is sadly not the case for most stories. the author also has a good sense for humiliation (8/10)

Well written with a good plot structure. The characters are more than the usual cartoon figures that normally people such stories. The ending is outstanding and obviously influenced by Parker, the master of the unhappy ending. Worth the time to read. (8/10)
