So many things are great about this that I can only shudder with how monstrous I must be to have enjoyed it. The things that make it a ten are the economy of words used to bring a reasonable backstory for such a short tale, and the poetry of each scene of torment and inner release. And of course the insidiousness of the sadism creeping behind my eyes until I like the demonic Sabine. Keeping the actual violence behind a fuzzy veil is the only thing that kept it tolerable to read -- a good choice for such a topic. (10/10)

This story is beautifully written. I was caught up in the imagery and the feeling presented through the main character's point of view. The violence, rather than being just plain gore, is artistic in spirit, crafted in such a stunning way. The ending to this, as opposed to Dark Fire's, was the subtle culmination needed to hint at the evil viciousness in the character's make-up. I am so hoping you return to this story and add to it.
