Set up and backdrop are a tad redundant and serves not the story, but the author. Which is a bit of a silly statement since it's the author who writes the story.
Anyway, I liked "Laura's Ordeal". A lot. Well written and showing that our Barones has imagination and knows how to put that imagination to paper.
Very nice read indeed.

It is getting a bit long and repetative. Good reading in small exquisite doses. But, may I suggest a sequell with new characters ? (9/10)

An extreme story, well written and clear. An old basic plot dressed up and in a sadly believable world.
