The very first paragraph of "Mob Boss" is yet another example of an author trying to knit together some interesting sounding sentences, but instead comes up with rather tediously written stuff which, first of all makes no sense, and secondly, lets surmise the worst for what's to come. Although the tediousness doesn't go away completely, Batjack seems to tone down on the Literary Ambitions and does rather well in presenting us a story. Okay, so the narrative is again a rather standard one, in which we are confronted with a damsel put in distress by an overly authoritative mob boss --something we've read about only 157,522 times before, of which 155,955 times were better than this. Fair story, but with enough room for improvement, like, the size of a jumbo Jet. JJ (7/10)

Good start for the story. Lots of curious things to explore, and plenty of basis for continuation. Please do! Getting better as we progress. (9/10)

I'm a big fan of cruel mob bosses!! We don't get enough of them around here IMHO. Interested to see where you take this.... keep at it, your writing is vivid and clear. (9/10)
