A story I wrote between novels. Please don't expect too much from this tale - it has all the usual ingredients - an errant husband, a woman scorned who morphs into vengeful wife and, of course, a suitable punishment. |

An excellent story, but it does have a flaw I find typical of many such stories--the assumption that the man is always going to be submissive and compliant. George is only submissive because he hopes to get free. Once that hope is gone he has no more reason to act that way. In real life he would probably try for revenge which could mean killing his antagonists, his wife slowly. (10/10)

The story is written nicely. It starts with harmless talk and builds up to the ultimate climax of denial. (9/10)

Now that's what I'd call a woman scorned. Can't say he didn't deserve it. Very well written and it held my interest thoughout. (10/10)

This was not a bad story at all. Very well written. The only negative for me is accepting the idea that no machinist, no matter how skilled, could remove the device without damaging the goods inside. Of course that premise is central to the story. (8/10)

- I agree - that's why I spent a little time in previous stories/novels, creating the Dickson Device. The story behind it's creation and how it functions helps dispel your arguement but not, I agree, totally.

The story is a very witty “punishment”: Eleanor takes vengeance on George. I think it is an extremely great cruelty and at this the author’s imagination and style are only greater. A don’t like such inhuman transgender stories, all the same I’m afraid I’ll read Carmenica’s novels. Goethe says: “The style is the man herself (himself). “ I’m curious to her f/m literary works. (10/10)

- Thank you for your extremely kind review. However, this is not a transgender story as such. I suppose it is inferred at the conclusion.
