I first read this story a few years ago and I've revisited a number of times hoping for a continuation. But I recently discovered that Miss Gray has now retired from writing, so sadly as well as this story remaining, to my mind, unfinished, we shall also be deprived of any further excellent works.
As for the story: I love it! Deliciously cruel and as ever well written and described.

Another good story from this well liked author. i only gave this a rating of 5 because it does not matter how careful a person is equipment can still malfunction. (5/10)

An excellent story, Ms. Gray. Getting hotter as we go, and featuring some interesting tease/flashback/flashforward processes. These really add to the story.
Looking forward to your next chapters! (9/10)

A fun short piece, and a good example of the unnecessariness of explicitness in a story to create eros and erotic tension.
I was a little bothered by some punctuation and spelling errors, particularly the use of "your" where you meant "you're". This may seem a small thing, but anything that distracts from the flow of the story and the characters reduces the power of the narrative, and it's so easy to fix with good editing.
I get the feeling this is the first part of a longer story. I will look forward to the continuation. (7/10)

Couldn't say it better meself Mrs. KC.
I thought at first this might be a one-off short but
I think I'm familiar enough with Anne's work now to know that when she spends this much time and effort on the set-up creating interesting characters and a solid milieu there is probaby more to come. For instance - she doesn't usually say things like "I spent two hours making sure she was very uncomfortable" without giving at least *some* details.
Now maybe I'm wrong - but I'm guessing this is the kick off to a another Anne Gray Nantucket Sleigh Ride of hardcore fem dom and leather n' latex fetish cruelty.
Only time...will tell. (10/10)

I love Anne's stories - always well written and just the right level of kinkyness. I know that 'kinkyness' is obviously subjective, but a story can't be 'very enjoyable' unless it is similar to the level of ones own tastes. Please let us have more chapters ;). (9/10)

This was a teaser, a little bit of fiction written to entice the reader to continue. My first suggestion is write more, and have it immediately ready. This wasn't even enough to get me excited, just interested. Content and grammer were good, as were descriptions. (8/10)
