written with a good awareness of this girl's fear and fantasy in a very recognisable and well-described context. And the appearance/colour of the guy is all part of the essential elements which make this fantasy ring true. Makes your appendages curl in horrified anticipation and then join the rush for the bus station. (9/10)

Well done fantasy, literate and easy to get into. ( Wondering why the knife-man had to be black, though. Does it matter?)
