Just finished chapter 3. For me, the story is missing the emotional development as well as motivations of the lead female character. Her actions are clear, but what is she feeling? Why has she chosen to rebel? etc. (7/10)

Dear Ruby,
Thank you for your generous Review.
Your questions are all valid and you are not the only one to address the very same issues! Thank you for reading, just the same.
The style IS different from previous attempts and succeeding episodes in "B,B,C" do broaden character developement a bit.

A very good start, Your method of story telling may be sparse and clipped but it forces the reader to engage in the story, filling in with their imagination that which you have only suggested.
You've been away too long, welcome back and try not to make us wait on the ending of this tale.

Good so far. I found each individual piece a bit short, and lacking in decription or character development; how does she feel about being enslaved? Does he want her? It's good to assume so, but there's little evidence.
One note: a Toga is a very specific garment, for formal wear (they are quite uncomfortable), prohibited to non-Roman Citizens, and made of linen. She should have been wearing a leather tunic.
Your writing is sparse, clean, and precise, and your editing quite good. The rest of this story is going to be quite interesting, I think. (7/10)

PS I never read anyone else's review before I write mine. I agree with everything Breannefun said.

Dear Dododecapod,
Quite correct on all accounts, though variety in things e.g., character developement, etc., make it more interesting to write, and hopefully, to read. Thank you also, for the post script.

p.s. your s/n is superb. Sounds like something out of the dino era

This story was simplistic in design, but relatively well written. There weren't any glaring errors or editing problems. My recommendation is to first complete the story. My second is to think about the scene. The author decribes very well the action taking place, but never the surrounding environment. Additionally, the emotions of the characters aren't given an airing...might be nice to know what each one is thinking? Anyway, keep up the good work. (7/10)

Dear Breannefun,
Thank you for the generous Review and insightful comments.
"B,B,C" is completed and currently undergoing final editing prior to uploading.
As for atmospheric detailing, I can only refer you to the fine archives and different stories where some are meticulously rich in details, even including humble attempts at characterizations.
Thank you again, and I do hope that you enjoy succeeding installments.
