Wanted to mark it higher, as it was potentially a very highly charged scenario. Keep writing about these types of situations. They hit a hot bottom with many. (5/10)

We felt there were a couple problems with the story. First, the story needs more detail and background to help the reader understand why he's submitting. Just stating it like a fact doesn't draw the reader in. Second, how you formatted the conversations needs some help. Using quotes is preferrable to dashes. A proofreader can help. (3/10)
