At least the boat part is well written. Now, more parts are needed, at least to known: - what happened with the senator - will the narrator remember that or not - will some gunguy come back to clean up memory or will they meet again and replay it... (6/10)

The main problem I have with this story is that it isn't a story. It's a story fragment. It has possibilities, but it stops just as it starts to get interesting. Why bother? I've never understood this practice of posting incomplete stories. If the author can't be bothered to finish it, why should anyone bother to read it? If you can somehow get past this particular elephant in the living room, it's not a bad beginning, although there is almost no dialog which makes it read a little like a laundry list. (4/10)
