Another classical "Allene" story. Although every part of this tale is enjoyable it suffers from the same two defects as most middle "Allene". First although the work is nicely episodic, dividing it into chapters would be of great service to the reader. Second, the ending needs punching up to make it more climatic. (8/10)

This is a significant improvement in plot development, dialogue and continuity over"Dixie", which I reviewed recently. The use of discovered tapes was an excellent vehicle to kick the pain and suffering "up a notch" to quote a well-known cable TV chef. The interaction with Jane and Mike was a good way to bridge to the meeting with every former Catholic school girls'ultimate fantasy, the depraved priest ( a father in more ways than one ). Too much physco babble from the priest and a terribly mawkish ending that reminded me of the classic "deus ex machina " of greek classics marred what was otherwise an excellent tale. On balance the positives win out handily and there is no doubt that this work is by the real Allene of RPP fame. (7/10)

The idea of enforced slimming is as good as the one of the "Swedish Massage", and the story's beginning is really great with some surprising twists. Unfortunately, the plot soon drifts off to a standard masochist theme with a number of exaggerations. (5/10)
