I am going to sound like a real downer after the previous reviews but... The story started off really well but the lack of detail in certain scenes became very distracting (the scene of her doing her homework in the basement felt as if a number of paragraphs were missing - very choppy). Chapter 2 with all the Thanatos stuff went way off the rails in my opinion. Snuff is a massive turnoff for me and it should have been mentioned in the story codes.
Writing in the present tense is also quite an ambitious prospect and you really need to make sure you stay in the present tense, otherwise that becomes distracting as well. (6/10)

This one has it all, and it's all good. This is definitely my kind of family, wonderfully weird and absolutely over the top. Can hardly wait for the next installment. Part 2 keeps up the pace, and the genetically modified mosquitoes are a stroke of genius. (10/10)
