This was utterly fantastic. There is so much more that could be done with this, but even if you dont it was great on it's own. I look forward to reading more! (9/10)

Stands on its own, but is also an excellent begining to a much longer story that could (dare I say should?) be written. Fans like me are waiting. (8/10)

It is not often I wish BDSM-stories to be longer than they are - rather to the contrary. This story could very well be continued. (9/10)

Very nice story, nicely written. The only drawback is that I think there's an even better story out there waiting to be written about a talented writer of tales of bondage (perhaps a professor) and a young woman who falls under his spell and craves the discipline to which his fictional heroines have been subjected. Neither one has acted on his or her dark desires before, and as they joust, it's not entirely certain which of them is in control and what the outcome will be. I thought that this might be that story (which I have been toying with the idea of writing myself for a while), but it doesn't get inside the character's heads in quite the way I had hoped. The author in this story is not quite as subtle as the one I have in mind, nor does his diction have (to me) the appeal, as opposed to the power, of such a Svengali. But on its own terms, this is a fine effort. (8/10)
