Building up nicely. Nicely paced, nice writing style. Looking forward to more humiliation and action. (9/10)

If Kafka had been more sexy and had had contact with the US Medical System, he might would have written such a story? This is an excellnet start for Sarah's novel of the human rat lady. (10/10)

Excellent beginning! It requires a certain amount of writing discipline to write a good beginning but it is well worth it down the road. Areas for improvement include increasing color and detail. Try and paint a word picture. As the chapters unfold don't be afraid to add little bits that tell us more about Sara's background, etc.
On a professional level, you might want to try reproducing some of Lewis' original guinea pig work on the dermal triple response (wheal, flare and erythema) in humans. (8/10)

Great idea. I liked the pace, the way things moved on one step at a time, and how easy it was.
It might have been more convincing if Rachel was persuaded to cooperate by some clever explanation rather than the threat of violence. Why would she have objected? She had already bought the story.
There's a lot more potential here! (5/10)

I'll admit, I am intrigued as to what happens next. It's a good start. (7/10)

Aw, come on Sara! That introduction was far to short - your story has a delicious premise. The requirement to be without tattoos and piercings seemed peculiar, I hope you can justify this policy. Rachel needs to be fleshed out with a little more character, we readers like to know what's going on in her mind. (7/10)

What a great idea! Fantastic imagination. She does it for a good cause and who knows where it is going to lead! Gets my juices going. Keep on writing Sara! (8/10)
