I think the writer may have a shoe fetish. While this is fiction, the punishment does not fit the crime (6/10)

it was intrestlingly good but as one reviewer said, the punishment i am not sure fit the crime, grant, it is erotica and fiction but still, kinda of like sentencing someone to life with no parole
for stealing a candy bar or something along those lines (7/10)

I agree with bracemaiden about the harshness of the punishment vs. the offense and the ignorance of safety, but the Tretorns (which I've never heard of either) would've been approved by my college writing professor. He said, "Never have your characters drive a car; have them drive a Buick. 'A car' tells them nothing, but a station wagon or a Buick puts an image in their minds." The biggest problem I had was the confusion of point of view. By the end you have (I think) the slave 's point of view of the Mistress talking abstractedly about the slave. Changing points of view isn't bad, but I think the changes need to be made more clear-cut. (5/10)

It seems that the author has a fetish for Tretorn running shoes. I must admit that not only have I not heard of the brand, I haven’t heard of a running shoe fetish before – most foot fetishists prefer stockings, bare, or heels.
To each their own I guess...
The harshness of the punishment versus the offense, the frequent mention of brand name and the ignorance of safety were bothersome and detracted from my reading enjoyment. (7/10)

This might be a great story for people who like to read about nylon ropes and shoes. But it just didn't have much of a human touch, for me. In erotica, it is very important for me to have a mental picture of the characters, and to have some understanding of their motivations. I didn't get either of those from this story, which could use a much stronger infusion of the author's own personality. The writing, per se, is fine. (6/10)

I am very fond of F/f fiction, and I love foot fetish action and bondage, so this hit all my buttons. I very much enjoyed this story. It was well-written, and easy to read and understand the descriptions. (8/10)
