Little to recommend so far, but the writer doesn't give me a chance with such a meagre opening chapter. (3/10)

A 13 word title, very impressive, but the story although free from most of the usual mechanical imperfections, does not do much for this reader. I base my rating on the sense that this is not a spoof. I also can't help noticing that this snippet is more a come-on for a competing site. (4/10)
