I agree that the ideas are interesting but it is the style that really intrigues me. I first I thought that the writer was illiterate. But as I went from section to section I realized that the writer was attempting to convey a particular sort of impairment in the diarist. This effect was best exemplified in the classic SF story "Flowers for Algernon" which was turned into the movie "Charly" starring Cliff Robertson (as I recall). Not a bad try. Certainly a bit different from the usual run-of-the-mill kidnapping and training story both in content and style. (9/10)
