The story is set in a medieval/fantasy kind of world. Our 'heroine', Jeanne, has a certain talent - she can call forth fire at will, but only when she is stressed. After some unfortunate incidents she sets out to find someone to teach her how to control that ability, and finds him in Tane, a sorcerer with some background who is not only interested in teaching Jeanne how her magic might work. Yet he is not so easily satisfied, and has some peculiar ideas how sex has to work. |

This is better than average by a margin as big as the difference between a kitten and a tiger. I'm worried though, Jeanne will die of old age before we can see the story completed... (10/10)

I just found this story a few days ago, and I must say I'm completely hooked! I'm only sad that there is so much time between more recent updates, but I will wait patiently (or as patiently as I can, lol) in the mean time. I love the depth the characters have and all the plot twists in the story. I'm curious to see if Jeanne ever confronts Tane and what will happen if she does. (Part of me still likes them together & wants them to make it work). To be honest, parts of this story have brought me close to tears, which I personally think makes you a fantastic author. Many people can write about sex scenes. You get the reader to care about your characters, much more impressive. Great work so far and I can't wait to see more of the story! (10/10)

An excellent story with good characters and a great plot. Really enjoyed reading it and really ,really hope we don't have to wait too long for the next chapters. Keep up the good work. (10/10)

It should be published and I would gladly buy many copies! While this newest chapter has indeed been long awaited, it was worth the wait in ten times its worth in gold. The plot twist was extremely rewarding and I'm very excited to see Jeanne's next move and Tane and Drake's reactions!
Thank you so much for writing such an amazing novel. You are truly a gift to the authors' realm! (10/10)

This story is Amazing! The plot is unpredictable and the character development and interaction is superbly done. You are a very talented author, and should seriously consider finishing and publishing this story... unless the whole point was to leave us hanging, begging for more... *smirk*... (10/10)

- oh no, I'd never deliberately leave my readers out there just for ... ah well. I'd like to say that I'm too submissive myself for such things, but there are some streaks in me, and a terrible load of work and other things in the last two years, that kept me from writing, and you waiting for more. Promise, I'll keep on writing, the next will be online soon! Hope you like it

i loved this story.. the fact that it had a plot that made sence unlike most was all that much better. i just wish that you would come back and write some more. i really wish that there was more of the story. and the thing is ... with a story this good it can only get better. i loved it alot and just wish to beg and pleed that you write more of it. or mabey write a sequel that would be jenny once she is older... (10/10)

- thank you very much for your praise, sadly I had no time until now to continue, but the next part is already begun, so you won't have to bear long to read on!
I like your idea about the sequel, I already thought about it. right now the story needs to be finished, and I already have ideas how it might commence after this part. But thank you for the advice!

I really enjoyed this story, the characters had substance and I cared about what was happening to them, so often this is missing from stories. There was a sequence and natural progression both in the nature of their sexual exploits and in the abilities of Jeannes magick.
Quite simply, it was a bloody good read!
Well done and maybe some more?? (9/10)

It's good to see that there are people out there who appreciate it if an author tries to write a real story, even if it's in a genre like this, where one might expect that readers only want the sparce, fleshy details, and not plot or characters around. I hope you will continue reading, at least I've took up writing on again

I have to compliment the author on having created an extremely engaging and well written story. It is definately one of the best I have read. I am really looking forward to seeing what comes next. (10/10)

Based on a partial reading. The author has taken on a very great challenge, to write a real story rather than simply a piece of pornography. Of what I have read so far, the author is partially succeeding but it is a big daunting task. Good luck. Your have already separated yourself from 90% of the writers on this site, keep trying. (10/10)

Dari... takes... her... time.
For added dimension to her characters, I would suggest a bit of studying on daily (and nightly) life in medieval Europe. That's *not* a criticism-- she does a fine job here, but I suspect she can top her own brilliant work with a bit of character study. Love this... keep 'em coming! (9/10)
