It held my interest and drew me inside the story. It left me wondering if it was real or fantasy. I found myself immersed in Joan's feelings, making me tingle all over for real. Very well written. Looking forward to more stories. Good attention to historical detail. (10/10)

A very cool story, one of the few that held my attention from start to finish. The end was rare in that it was open ended AND didn't seem like a shameless plug for a sequel. Good job. (9/10)

The story is very well written. The descriptions of the trials put to Joan are very good. I also like the open-ended twist at the end. (9/10)
