This works for me! Considering the length of this short story, the author gets a lot into it including some character development and background. Having the main scene take place in a public bathroom strains its credibility somewhat, but that's a minor ding. The ending is a logical outgrowth even without the revealation that the author provides. The author has not written an epic or a work for the ages, merely a good short story, which is no mean feat.
My rating has nothing to do with the review by the numbers that seems to be in vogue at this site these days. (7/10)

Interesting subject matter but rather jumbled. No time was devoted to developing any of the charactors so you almost wonder how the end result was reached. Could have been better (4/10)
