Epilogue

Molly returned to England with Richard and stayed for a while with him until it
was time for her to go to college. She needed frequent conselling sessions at
first but being young, soon seemed to get over the trauma although there were
nights when the terrible whipping kept her awake.

Brenda and Paul kept together both as a team in the vice squad and privately.
After his work on the case, Paul's status was raised both by Brenda and by his
superior and often now they worked together more or less as equals but at home,
Paul was always, or almost always, the slave. He liked it that way.

Sadie continued in her under cover work and on occasions looked up Robert
especially where their investigations interlinked.

The two slave girls disappeared. It was thought the Vice squad enabled them to
emigrate possibly to Australia.

Sylvia took a shore job in a travel agency.
