Chapter 11
Daylight streamed through the kitchen window. Jasmine stood at the stove cooking her breakfast. After setting the table she headed to her bedroom to find her puppy-girl fast asleep on the floor where she had left her.
“Princess,” she called. “Wake up, Princess.”
Slowly, Princess raised her eyes and looked up.
“Come,” Jasmine ordered, before turning to leave the room.
Struggling to her feet, Princess followed behind, catching up to Jasmine as she entered the kitchen.
“I know you’re wondering why you can leave the room today,” Jasmine began. “suffice to say that I am in complete control of your whereabouts. Just know that if you step one foot out the door you will be in as much pain as you were when you tried to leave my room last night. So, I recommend you don’t get any silly ideas of leaving.”
Princess looked at Jasmine, silently taking in her words, knowing it would be wise not to test them.
“Kneel, Princess.”
She knelt, wishing she could offer up some sort of resistance. “God, why don’t I fight? Am I that weak?” she thought.
